Weigh in day


Yayyyyyyyyyy so I lost another 5lb which means 1 stone in 3 weeks.

Got my first stone off sticker 

And my slimmer of the week .....again



And slimmer of the month .....woohoo
Got a pen set and the summer book

Rubbish day

So today started out rubbish. Forgot to take my glasses to work and my watch and a spoon for my lunch.then realised I forgot to take my thyroid tablets as well. Then banged my head off a metal pole that the clothes hang on in my work,and then the day just dragged in from then ....so nightmare of a day haha

Tonight's dinner was SW chips and salad with some tikka chicken from asda  yummmm

Sunday night

Weigh- in on Tuesday and I don't expect it to be a good one as I haven't been eating a breakfast or lunch really this week as I have been working early. So wee bit down because of that :-(
So gonna just watch big brother and have some cracker n cheese

Diet coke chicken

ingredients



1 X CAN OF DIET COKE
6 TBSP OF PASSATA
2 X CHICKEN BREASTS
RED ONIONS,AND RED PEPPERS
1X TBSP OF WORCESTER SAUCE
I ALSO ADDED SOME GARLIC, HERBS AND SPICES (YOUR OWN PERSONAL TASTE)


method



COOK RED ONION, GARLIC AND RED PEPPERS FOR A COUPLE OF MINS IN FRY LIGHT, BOIL THE CHICKEN BREAST AND ADD TO THE VEG.MIX THE PASSATA
WORCESTER SAUCE AND CAN OF DIET COKE IN A JUG AND ADD TO THE CHICKEN AND VEG.MIX AND REDUCE DOWN TILL ITS LIKE A STICKY SAUCE. TASTED LIKE A BBQ SAUCE AND SERVE WITH BOILED RICE OR SW CHIPS

I had mine with SW chips(which didn't turn out right) and peas yum

Sunday Dinner

So tonight's dinner is slimming world chips,peas and carrots and Cajun chicken. Yum yum


ingredients

  • 908g/2lb medium sized Maris Piper potatoes
  • Fry Light spray
  • crushed sea salt and malt vinegar


method

  1. Preheat the oven to 240°C/Gas 9. Peel the potatoes using a potato peeler and remove any blemishes or 'eyes'. Slice lengthwise into approx ½in/1cm thick rectangular chips. 
  2. Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil. Add the chips and cook for 6 minutes. Drain and leave aside for 10 minutes to dry. 
  3. Return the chips to the dry saucepan, cover with a lid and shake to ''rough up'' the edges of the chips - this roughness is important to the texture of the chips.
  4. Spray a metal baking tray with Fry Light. Transfer the chips to the tray, spray lightly with Fry Light and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, Turn occasionally.
 

Syn free on extra easy

Chicken breasts 
Cajun spice
Fry light

method

Coat the chicken in the spice, and place on a tray sprayed with fry light. Turn occasionally 
And grill/oven for 20/30 mins  Turn occasionally untill ready.

Slimming world

This blog is going to be about my slimming world journey. I joined slimming world on 16th July 2013 and its now 3 weeks later and I have lost 9lbs ...woohoo! 
My next weigh-in is Tuesday so hopefully another loss is on the cards. I have found the diet quite easy so far, miss my crisps and cheese a lot but still get to have a little bit of cheese every day.
I don't like to use my syns on crisps,choc,sweets etc at the moment want to just try cut it all out and see how I get on.
Having an under active thyroid I thought it was gonna be hard to lose weight but it seems to be going ok at the moment.

So I will be posting recipes, my weigh-ins and just how I'm getting on in general
